FEATURES OF DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIES AND PROGRAMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF REGION

Abstract: In a scientific article the importance of strategic planning, given a means of implementing the development strategy of the region include: an action plan to implement the strategy , timeframes and implementation; targeted regional programs aimed at solving specific problems of the regional economy ; strategies of the individual areas of the region (districts , cities, towns , villages) . The features of the development strategy of Lviv region until 2015 ; formation of working groups. Highlighted the major drawbacks of targeted integrated programs. Proposed ways of improving strategic planning in modern conditions: reducing the number of documents outlining the future development of the region ; harmonization of diverse objectives defined in these documents ; focus on real investment projects ; streamline procedures for developing and approving regional strategies.
