Abstract: Modern social sphere is one of the objects with respect to which there is a substantial revision of conceptual approaches, tools, mechanisms, trends and methods for improving the operation of institutions of social protection and organization of social services. Thus, providing the strategic direction of reforms should be linked to a socially oriented economy. This article explores current approaches to the implementation of partnership in the field of social protection at the local level. Political, economic and legal changes that have occurred in the country in recent years, created the conditions for the joint efforts of the government, local authorities, private and public sectors in addressing social problems, understanding the capabilities partner collaboration, combining resources and expertise. Today is a very relevant research partnership opportunities for application in the social sphere as a necessary condition of effective social protection and an integral part of social policy region, city or locality.
