Abstract:
The article states that the system of national security of Ukraine in the defense and protection of the state border of Ukraine was unprepared to effectively confront new type of Russian-terrorist aggression, because of the distortion of public administration and the national security system, destruction of security sector and defense, which had to ensure the rule and strict law enforcement, protection of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of state borders of Ukraine. Emphasized that under the Russian-terrorist aggression to our country faced the difficult task of reforming the defense and security sector, including the police and other security agencies that perform specific tasks to ensure national security. Proved that the issue of Ukraine's national security in defense of the state border is a strategic priority for implementation of the policy of the national security state, which aims to improve governance mechanisms in the field of border security Ukraine on the protection of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of state borders. The content of the theoretical and applied aspects of governance in the security of the border. It is proved that under the Russian-terrorist aggression improve governance mechanisms in the field of border security Ukraine will ensure the realization of state policy on Ukraine's national security in defense of the state border of Ukraine and its sovereign rights in the exclusive (maritime) economic zone.
