UNIVERSITIES ? SUCCESS KEY IN DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE BASED SOCIETY

Abstract: Knowledge is a key to the development of a sustainable society is seen as an element of cohesion between the academic and corporate field, its effective use leading to comprehensive wealth creation for any nation that uses it as a valuable resource, improving the quality of life. Education in general and higher education in particular is meant to lead society towards sustainable development helping consumers of higher education capacity to transform their visions into reality. Given the unprecedented dynamism of markets in which universities work and the complexity of training activities in higher education, the efficiency efforts of higher education through the use of marketing principles in the work they perform, will all lead to satisfy higher education needs at high quality standards and to generate maximum higher educational consumer satisfaction thereby contributing to knowledge development and progress of society.
