Abstract:
Although the studies examining effects of third degree price discrimination in incomplete markets are mostly limited to monopoly markets, recent studies heavily focused on the oligopoly markets. In this study, we try to figure out the effects of third degree price discrimination used by Turkish GSM sector towards to college students. According to findings of the study, there is a significant welfare and output effects of the long term price discrimination in GSM sector in Turkey for college students leading to paying less and speaking more.
