Abstract:
Digital art that can be shortly defined as the art produced in electronic field has been changing and transforming contemporary knowledge, point of view, and conscious with the theories and concepts related to technology. Digital art that can use numerous art forms or technique descriptions together inquires the interaction of person with his own environment, knowledge, technology and aesthetics. Digital art has been tried to be classified and defined with long-term studies preferring multiple views as each new developing art form in a wide extend. In this article in which the development having been studied since 1990s till today, the characteristics and classification of digital art have been dealt with. It is studied how digital art can be interpreted in terms of conceptual and theoretical.
