The Concept of Global Brain in The Context Of Organismic View Of Society And Global Creativity

Abstract:
The organismic view of society has portrayed by several thinkers at various times however, the constitution of nervous system for organism has enabled by courtesy of the advances in information technologies. Society’s capacity for information production, processing and control has increased by diversity of direct interactions; thus Global Brain began to work. Distributed knowledge of the community has begun to circulate throughout networks and global creativity is in use as an effective tool to solve the various problems. This study aim to provide first, a critical review of the literature on global brain in terms of the organismic view of society, second, the main features of this communication network, especially internet, will be discussed.
