Abstract:
The studies of management and organization on the discourse and the power of the discourse are the aggregate of the techniques about the negotiation, problem solving and presentation. In the context of management studies, the discourse gains a functional quality beyond the perception of the vocal series, which has nothing special more. “Understanding, agreeing and telling” are essential in all management functions. The rhetoric plays an important role in the effective communication, individually and it is an effective persuasion tool in diffusion and institutionalization of organizational forms and values, organizationally. The perception type, which has developed via positivism, has been affecting the management thought of nowadays. The businesses focus on productivity more through the management techniques and they neglect the effectiveness of the discourse. The management knowledge can not be evaluated without the human. The secrecy of the success of the technique and theory in the organization is the persuasion of the language. Purifying management discourse from verbalism will bring virtue, which is one of the final aims of the rhetoric. The gains of the management, which has high levels of human activities, from the art of rhetoric must not be underestimated.
