Abstract: The impact of real exchange rate volatility on the exports of a country is one of the crucial issues to consider. In this paper, the effect of exchange rate volatility on the exports of Turkey is investigated. Four of the leading industries of Turkey are chosen and examined for the period 2003-2011. Bounds test and ARDL approach are applied to the monthly figures of the variables. According to the empirical findings of the analysis, exchange rate volatility does not have any significant effect on the exports of chemistry, automotive, electric-electronic and iron-steel industries of the country.
