Abstract: Technology has production, information, purpose and meaning dimensions. Technology takes part in all areas of our life and offers exciting variations and facilities, besides producing new stress and risk sources. Sociologists have stated that there are two opposite opinions, technological determinism and technological pessimism, as to the effects of technology to society. Technorealism is an opinion which defends that we must use the technology as appropriate to our values. In this direction, the purpose of this study is to clarify ìtechnorealismî for using the technology and to examine the principles of technorealism in detail.
