The Efforts Of The Turkish Companies In The Way Of Being Learning Organisations

Abstract: In 1990’s, business and management world was shaken with a new concept which was found by Senge: Learning Organizations. Since that time, lots of theoritical studies were done and published in some magazines about learning organizations. In ad- dition, for the assesment of these studies, lots of analytical studies were done too. This re- search depends on to supply the abilities of organizations being learning organization in Turkey. This research has been realized with a questionnaire which was posted to 100 bu- sinesses. Some of these businesses were the businesses which applied the “National Qua- lity Award†and some of these were the businesses which successfully practiced the new management approaches.
