Abstract: In this study, Labour Law dated 1936 which can be named as a document of harmony between labour-capital and social consensus document in the one-party period is examined. This law shows the formation of class balance in one-party system period. In the study, the social, economic and political factors of the year 1936’s Turkey are determined, the important articles of the law which caused discussions in General Assembly are evaluated and also Labour Law dated 2003 is evaluated to bring the value of Labour Law dated 1936 into public view.
