Abstract:
One of the most common method for efficiency analysis is the data enveloping analysis. In such studies, generally, only the efficiency levels weredetermined, in some of them other methods (for example the convergence analysis) were used as the explanatory variable. The input congestion and slacks variables, which explain the quantity and reasons of misused inputs, were ignored. In his study, in addition to the determination of efficiency levels according to the property types, the input congestion and slacks were determined and their reasons were discussed. In the study, the hospitals of Health Ministry, The Social Security Institution Hospitals and the private hospitals in the 2003 year were examined. At the end of the study, different efficiency levels according to the property types were determined. Besides, the values of slacks and input congestion were calculated.
