Abstract: The study rewiews and introduces the nature and dimensions of mobbing at work. Mobbing occurs when someone at work is systematically subjected to aggressive behaviour from one or more colleagues or supervisors over a period of time, in a situation where the targets finds it difficult to defend him or herself to escape the situation. Such treatment tends to stigmatise the target and may cause severe psychological trauma. So the causes and dimensions of mobbing must be introduce. So an empirical research has been conducted to get knowledge of “ what is the charactaristic of mobbing, who is doing, what to whom, where, why and with what kinds of consequences†in relation with mobbing. The research has been focused people who were working at the four and five stars hotel establishments in Turkey
