Abstract:
This research was examined direct effect of empowering leader behavior on psychological empowerment. Survey data were collected from 233 subordinates working at a manufacturing firm. Initially, empowering leader behavior and psychological empowerment were defined. Consequently, correlation and regression analysis were performed according to the methodology of the research. As aconclusion, delegation of authority, accountability, skill development and coaching for innovative performance dimensions of empowering leader behavior were found to have a direct effect on psychological empowerment.
