Compositional Data: A Different Perspective to Registered Motor Land Vehicles

Abstract: Data which is formed by parts of a whole arise in diverse scientific fields. Due to its structure, this kind of data is multivariate which has attractive properties. Because they are constrained to a constant sum, they have both central tendency and dispersion measures, and a constrained space of their own. Frequently, aforementioned data is being summarized by using classical fundamental statistics. In this study, a specific data type called compositional data is mentioned. Registered motor land vehicle data is examined through compositional data analysis and its dispersion and central tendency measures are calculated. In addition, graphics designed for compositional data is given and registered motor land vehicles data is interpreted with the help of these graphics.
