Abstract:
// The article evaluates the relationship between money supply and economic growth in Kazakhstan. The vector error correction model (VECM) is applied. The empirical method revealed a significant long-term relationship between the variables. Money supply and inflation have a negative impact on economic growth in the long run. In the short term, the money supply has a positive impact, while the inflation has a negative impact on economic growth.
