Abstract: Конкуренция – основная регулирующая сила в рыночной экономике, выполняющая целый ряд функций. Наряду с саморегулированием рынка, конкуренция способствует улучшению качества товаров и услуг, снижению производственных затрат, развитию научно-технического прогресса, созданию лучших условий для потребителей, а также влияет на процесс ценообразования. Интенсивность конкуренции во многом зависит от отраслевых особенностей рынка. В данной статье представлены результаты оценки конкурентной среды с применением данных официальной статистики и результатов ежеквартального мониторинга предприятий Национального Банка, проводимых опросным путем с помощью территориальных филиалов. В качестве критериев оценки применяется индекс Джини, индекс рыночной концентрации CR, индекс Герфиндаля-Гиршмана, а также оценка степени конкуренции самими предприятиями. // Competition is the main regulatory force in a market economy, performing a variety of functions. Along with self-regulation of the market, competition helps to improve the quality of goods and services, reduce production costs, develop scientific and technological progress, create better conditions for consumers, and also affects the pricing process. The intensity of competition largely depends on the industry characteristics of the market. This article presents the results of assessing the competitive environment using the data of official statistics and the results of quarterly monitoring of enterprises of the National Bank, conducted by questionnaire with the help of territorial branches. The Gini index, the market concentration index CR, the Herfindahl-Hirschman index, as well as the assessment of the degree of competition by the enterprises themselves are used as assessment criteria.
