Abstract: Статья посвящена анализу текущего состояния рынка страхования жизни и отдельных его классов. Рассмотрен международный опыт развития отрасли страхования жизни, проанализировано положение казахстанских компаний страхования жизни (КСЖ). Дано описание трех основных классов, оценена динамика страховых премий и подняты проблемные вопросы, существующие в казахстанской практике страхования жизни. Статья подготовлена в формате обзора с целью привлечения внимания к проблемам рынка страхования жизни и обсуждения перспектив его развития. // The paper is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the life insurance market and its individual classes. The international experience of the life insurance industry development is reviewed; the position of Kazakhstani life insurance companies (LICs) is analyzed. The description of three main classes is given, the dynamics of insurance premiums is assessed and outstanding issues existing in Kazakhstan life insurance practice are raised. The article is prepared in the format of a review in order to draw attention to the problems of the life insurance market and discuss the prospects for its development.
