Abstract: Ожидания населения относительно текущей и будущей динамики цен на товары и услуги являются одним из основных факторов, оказывающих влияние на инфляцию. Низкий и стабильный уровень инфляционных ожиданий способствует росту эффективности денежно-кредитной политики, особенно в условиях инфляционного таргетирования. По этой причине центральные банки многих стран придают особое значение анализу и контролю инфляционных ожиданий. Целью данного исследования является изучение факторов, которые определяют инфляционные ожидания населения в Казахстане. В нем проведен обзор работ различных исследователей, которым удалось выявить объективные и субъективные причины, тем или иным образом лежащие в основе формирования ожиданий населения относительно роста цен. С помощью ряда подходов и во многом опираясь на результаты опроса Национального Банка Казахстана, проводимого начиная с 2016 года по настоящее время, был выявлен список факторов, формирующих ожидаемую инфляцию в Казахстане. Также использование ряда методов1 позволило в рамках данного исследования провести поиск списка товаров и услуг, к изменению цен на которые особо чувствительно мнение населения об инфляции. По итогам проведенного анализа сделан ряд важных выводов об особенностях инфляционных ожиданий в Казахстане: значительное влияние обменного курса, новостного фона, продовольственной инфляции, а также наличие товаровмаркеров, динамика цен на которые оказывает выраженное влияние на инфляционные ожидания. // Expectations of the population regarding the current and future dynamics of prices for goods and services are one of the main factors influencing inflation. Low and stable level of inflation expectations contributes to the increasing effectiveness of monetary policy, especially in the context of inflation targeting. For this reason, central banks of many countries pay special attention to the analysis and control of inflation expectations. The purpose of this research is to study the determinants of inflation expectations of the population in Kazakhstan. It provides a review of the works of various researchers who managed to identify the objective and subjective reasons that in one way or another are key to the formation of the population’s expectations regarding price growth. Using a number of approaches and largely relying on the results of a survey of the National Bank of Kazakhstan conducted from 2016 to the present, a list of factors that shape the expected inflation in Kazakhstan was identified. Also, the use of a number of methods allowed searching for a list of products and services within the framework of this study, where the population’s opinion on inflation is particularly sensitive to changes in prices. Based on the results of the analysis, a number of important conclusions were made about the specifics of inflation expectations in Kazakhstan: a significant impact of the exchange rate, news background, food inflation, as well as the presence of tracer products whose price dynamics have a pronounced impact on inflation expectations.
