Abstract:
This paper investigates the symbiotic relationship between education and riskmanagement within Czech healthcare facilities, specifically focusing on nurses' educationregarding patients' disabilities. On the sample of 1,200 respondents from Czech healthcarefacilities, the survey results suggest that education levels significantly shape risk awareness, tool utilization, and risk integration. While positive trends are evident in the healthcare sector, concerns linger around interpreting assessment results, information sufficiency, and theshortening of nurses’ education. This study's broader implications inform ongoingdiscussions on nursing education and its impact on patient care quality. It underscores theessential role of comprehensive education in cultivating critical thinking, adept riskmanagement, and patient-centered care. The study sets the stage for continued discourse andpolicy considerations, reinforcing patient safety, staff competence, and healthcare systemresilience.
