Technology and Marketing Tourism and Hotels in Jordan

Abstract:
Modern economic development and strong competition between institutions and the consolidation of globalization and its attendant concentration, Quality standards, international competition requirements, customer satisfaction, and remarkable technological development, Information and communication, has led to considerable weight in the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) techniques, Especially the Internet, as this digital revolution represented a great and very important opportunity for tourism and hotel organizations to try, The development of productive, service and creative capacities and integration into the new global economy. This study seeks to identify the availability of technological means in the touristic and hotel facilities and its role in the competitive advantage in the marketing of tourism and hotel product in Jordan from the perspective of workers in enterprises, and to investigate kinds of obstacles and difficulties facing this type of tourism, and what implications affecting the development of this type of tourism. This study belongs to the exploratory analytical studies and pursues the method of collection and analysis of data to gain access to the results. The study was conducted by distributing a questionnaire to a number of workers in the touristic and hotel facilities where (80) questionnaires were distributed, of them (73) questionnaires were restored and (8) were excluded, so (65) questionnaires were adopted. These questionnaires contain data of a number of workers in the touristic and hotel facilities who represents the research the study population and sample. This study is designed to provide the technological means in tourism and hotel facilities and its role in competitive advantage in product marketing and tourist and hotel in Jordan from the point of view of the workers in the establishments, and constraints that face this type of tourism, the factors affecting the development of this kind of tourism, and reflected in the study of the results and recommendations will be put before the decision makers in the Jordanian tourism sector and taken into account. Help provide the technological means in tourism and hotel facilities to facilitate work in the tourism and hotel facilities which help in Competitive Advantage, help provide the technological means in tourism and hotel facilities on the marketing of the tourist and hotel product which helps in competitive advantage, the study recommended the work to know the best and most sophisticated methods used in the tourist and hotel shopping to increase the competitive advantage based on this sector.
