Abstract:
In 1997, Creative Industries Mapping Documents was published in the UK, defining the creative industries as "the potential to create wealth and employment opportunities through the generation and development of intellectual property by the creativity, skills and talents of individuals". Since then, the creative industry has become a trend in the world. It is considered as a feasible way of economic development, which can drive the commercial value of other industries and further generate considerable economic and social benefits. For a long time, the creative industry agents have no professional quality and no functional standards. The government has not given the legal status of agents either. As a result, many agents have a narrow vision, insufficient practical experience, weak professional ability, and low degree of cross-cutting. The agents have left many negative comments in the market. They not only can't reach the high-level project for the client, but also lose the trust of the designers and the need for market development. In general, it is the lack of cultural capital to support the professional skills required by the creative design industry agents. This paper attempts to explore the relationship with the function of creative industry agents from the perspective of cultural capital. Analyze the professional functions of creative industry agents from the perspective of literature analysis, interview survey and questionnaire. Finally summarize the structure of PRINCIPAL which can provide reference for future research on creative industry agents.
