Abstract: The article looks into the financial aspects of Kazakhstan’s economic modernization. Based on the results of studies conducted, key features and problems of the development of the national economy are identified given the new challenges and threats, close integration and interdependence from the development of the world economy. The use of modern methodology allowed to demonstrate the significant impact of the state financial policy on the implementation of the third modernization of the Kazakh economy, as well as highlight its priorities and substantiate the financial mechanisms that would increase the global competitiveness of the national economy. The study was carried out using the example of transformations characteristic of the modern economic system in Kazakhstan. The aim of the study is to substantiate the author’s approach to creating a fundamentally new model of economic growth by providing financial stimulation to the accelerated technological modernization of the economy to ensure its global competitiveness.
