Mental Types of Eurasian Culture and Civilization: Russia and Kazakhstan

Abstract: The article is devoted to defining the place and role of the Kazakh and Russian cultures in the civilizational area of Eurasia. Author discusses the choice of models of social and cultural development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in conditions of globalization and localization. Identification of the Kazakh culture is held in the context of its interaction with nomadic, Islamic, Russian, Central Asian and East Asian civilizations. In this article analyses the role of cultural factors in the formation of post-Soviet Central Asian States.
