Should Iraqis Go Solar on Household Level?

Abstract: This work presents an assessment of the potentialities for using solar photovoltaic electricity in Iraqi houses. It is pointed out that going to solar electricity on household level may form one good solution for the present grid electricity crises in the country. Different aspects of the issue are discussed. The discussion is based on first hand experience of the author. Some economical, cultural and technological suggestions are made.
