Abstract:
In the present work, magnetic zeolitehave been synthesized by insitu method using combination of iron oxide nanoparticlesFe3O4 and clinoptilolite. Fe3O4nanoparticleshave been synthesized electrochemically and then clinoptilolitewas added to solution. The Fe3O4 nanoparticles synthesized at the temperature of 90° C with applying the potential of 8V for 1800 seconds. The synthesized nanocomposite characterized by IR spectra, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and XRD methods. Results shows that nanoparticles have uniform spherical shape with an average size of 40 nm.The clinoptilolite and Fe3O4 crystallinity were well preserved and showed that the crystallinity of the modified clinoptilolite was slightly reduced, However, the crystal structure is maintained.
