THE EXPENDITURES FOR ENVIRONEMENT PROTECTION IN ROMANIA

Abstract: Expenditures for environmental protection are considered a response by economic agents and public administration towards the prevention, compensation, and protection costs represent the total amounts of investments and expenses supported by specialized manufacturers, unspecialized manufacturers, and the public administration sector. The paper shows the evolution of expenditures for environmental protection in Romania in the period 2007 � 20011, overall and by activity sectors.
