Abstract:
During last decades, project management growth rapidly. It developed from a couple fields of application including civil construction, engineering, and heavy defense activity to a large area of fields. In every industry developments or improvements can be implemented using project management tools and methodologies. Nowadays, there are various approaches and methods that can be used in different types of project management. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the project management methodologies, to identify the criteria for choosing the most suitable approach and to understand how applying the best methodology can help companies add value and gain competitive advantage.
