Abstract:
" The municipality of Catanzaro promotes the works of Cracking Art as part of the ""Art and City II Edition"" initiative. An open-air exhibition was created by commissioning the artistic movement to install 36 reproductions of giant animals made of recycled colored plastic, located in the pedestrian area of the historic city center. It is part of the development and innovation policies, to enhance the tourist-cultural resources and relaunch the commercial productive fabric during the pandemic period. The objective of this work is twofold, on the one hand it aims to analyze how this experience was lived by the citizens / visitors, and on the other, to verify whether the installations were able to encourage the turnout towards the historic center, where the economic and commercial activities of the city develop"
