Abstract:
The present paper offers a focus on the models of technology transfer as strategic tools for local development. It proposes a comparative analysis between the Italian and Belarus models. The aim is to show the differences in terms of roles and activities carried out by the main actors involved in the innovation process. A discussion on the opportunities to increase innovation performance, is proposed, along with possible patterns of regional development.
