Abstract: "This work analyses the structural and dynamic aspects of the tourism economy in Puglia, a region that at the beginning of the third millennium began a process of sustained growth with an acceleration in the transformations of the regional tourism model. The article aims to illustrate the evolutionary stages of the tourism phenomenon in Puglia, as well as the factors and lines of intervention of the regional government, which have favoured the extraordinary success of the tourism sector and the possibility of elevating itself to a strategic sector for the Apulian economy"
