Abstract:
The challenges of doing business in a globalized world as well as greater social awareness foster organizations to implement active approaches to diversity in working environments and to implement diversity management. The purpose of the paper is to explore and present theoretical and empirical evidence about the impact of workforce diversity and inclusiveness on the organizational success. The focus of the research is on the positive effects of workforce diversity and inclusiveness. The paper is based on the comparative analyses of secondary data which has shown a significant positive impact of diversity and inclusiveness on both the quantitative as well as qualitative indicators of organizational success. Organizations that are aware of this are beginning to invest more and more into the approaches that not only respect but also encourage recruitment of diverse workforce, and into the development of diversity management models.
