Abstract:
The researchers often connect the issues of improving the quality of education in technical universities with the study process of the discipline “Foreign Language”. Insufficient language proficiency of applicants causes the adaptation training courses that optimize the educational process. Taking into account the level of initial language training of a first-year student they help fill in the gaps in language education at the basic level. The article reveals the essence of the category “Foreign Language adaptation training”. The purpose is to form an information model, interpreting its essential qualities through their natural change. The author consistently describes the identified stages of adaptation evolution. The resulting model includes six logical levels representing qualitative characteristics of adaptation processes and a description of the logical limit of cognition of each level. The method of the categorical-system methodology “Finite information flow” helped to form a set of qualitative characteristics, reflecting the continuous transformation of the adaptation process in training. The information image proposed by the author reveals the essence of adaptation training and sets its more precise qualitative certainty. The results serve as the basis for further research on the mechanisms of formation and the conditions for successful management of the adaptation training development.
