Abstract:
The article deals with the problem of finding effective ways to promote students’ self-realization as an educational outcome in the system of secondary vocational education. The empirical study of college students’ self- actualization level in professional activities has revealed that students experience difficulties in planning and independent organization of learning activities, find it challenging to give self-assessment of their activity results, demonstrate performance in socially useful and sports activities, and give preference to sports activities. The results of the research on the level of self-actualization of college students in professional activity indicate the need to improve the student portfolio, in which students could reflect on the activities that they independently planned and designed and self-evaluate the results of their implementation.
