Abstract:
Increased competition among manufacturing companies is caused by market conditions, as well as by increasing consumer demands on producers of goods as a result of globalization and economic wars and sanctions. The article describes the foreign experience of implementing lean manufacturing, the specifics of implementation in individual countries and the specifics of its application in small business. The effectiveness of lean manufacturing tools providing competitive advantages by reducing costs, increasing productivity / outputis proved by the example of electrical manufacturing companies. The technological and organizational aspects of the process of implementing lean manufacturing as a long-term and expensive one within the entire complex of funds spent on its implementation, the need for preliminary study and evaluation of the feasibility of implementing lean manufacturing technologies are substantiated. A fragment of the results of the introduction of lean production of JSC “SOEMI” is presented.
