Cognitive modeling of strategic-sustainable socio-economic development of the agricultural sector in the regional economy

Abstract:
The socio-economic importance of the agricultural sector of the economy determines the need to ensure its competitiveness, sustainable and steadily progressive development. In modern conditions, such achievements are possible basing on the use of the latest scientific achievements in science and technology, best practices, effective use of cognitive modeling and artificial intelligence, automation and digital platforms, technological breakthroughs to a new level of development, which determines the relevance of this research. The author notes that economic growth requires the development of new modern growth management mechanisms that have the ability to manage the dynamics of growth/decline, assess the effectiveness of growth/decline, identifying the causes of negative changes in order to take the necessary measures in the event of a deviation of the growth trajectory being studied from the projected value. Modeling sustainability criteria and their constant monitoring will determine the growth trajectory of the socio-ecological-economic system of agriculture, promoting production efficiency, and therefore a positive impact on the growth of living standards in rural areas, increasing labor productivity, creating conditions for the development of human potential and the development and strengthening of ecosystems. The article presents a scenario for the strategic development of the agricultural sector of the regional economy using cognitive modeling and trends in economic development. The strategy for sustainable development of the agricultural sector of the economy combines the sustainability of the agricultural sector of the economy in the context of three development criteria – social, economic and environmental, indicators of which will allow express analysis and monitoring through the main factors that take into account the specifics of the agricultural industry as an integrated system, and allow takingtheir totality forms the basis of strategic planning.
