Abstract: In the context of the development of digital production, the use of modern domestic software products and tools in solving issues of economic planning and evaluating the effectiveness of the enterprise is relevant. For the successful and cost-effective operation of the enterprise at the design stage, it is necessary to form production lines using digital tools in a high-quality and meaningful way. Purpose of the article: development of a simulation model of a production line for the production of household products; conducting experiments using the constructed model describing various economic situations; based on the results obtained, formulation of recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency and increasing the productivity of the enterprise. The research was carried out using modern technologies and resources, namely, agentbased and discrete-event simulation methods in the domestic AnyLogic Personal Learning Edition software environment. It is shown that the use of simulation modeling methods in the selection of efficient production lines contributes to faster and better decision-making aimed at improving the efficiency of production. The materials of the article can be useful in conducting research related to the assessment of the optimal use of labor and material resources of production lines.
