Vertically integrated structures for the formation of cooperative relations in the Omsk region’s industry

Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the role of vertically integrated structures in the formation and development of industrial cooperative interactions in the Omsk region. As a conceptual basis, the material of the article is focused on the evolutionary economic-spatial paradigm. To conduct the research, scientific methods of constructing concepts, generalization and description, as well as the method of analyzing materials were used. According to the theoretical and methodological part of the study, the definition of cooperative technical and industrial development of a vertically integrated structure is given. The main results of the study are reduced to identifying the main branches of the Omsk manufacturing industry, within which enterprises operate, which are subjects of vertically integrated structures and integrated into the corresponding cooperative chains. Practical approaches to the development of cooperative relations with the participation of vertically integrated structures in the Omsk region at the present stage have been identified. In addition, the factors determining the participation of vertically integrated structures in the formation of cooperative ties in the Omsk region are summarized. The potential positive results associated with the economic development of the region, which are formed as a result of the activities of vertically integrated structures for the formation of cooperative ties, are noted. The conclusion is made about the most important role of vertically integrated structures in the practice of developing cooperative relations in the industrial sector of the Omsk region, regional features of this process are highlighted.
