Abstract:
This study examines how corporate HR professionals evaluate the job fit of vocational college graduates, analyzing the relationship between graduates' competency gaps and faculty competency frameworks through surveys and in-depth interviews. The research identifies that the primary factor contributing to insufficient job fit is faculty members' lack of "dual qualifications, dual expertise, and dual competencies." Here, dual qualifications refer to teaching credentials and industry certifications; dual expertise encompasses high teaching standards and industry acumen; and dual competencies involve practical teaching skills alongside technical research capabilities. Based on these findings, the study proposes targeted improvement strategies across four key dimensions: institutional safeguards, school-enterprise collaboration, training systems, and evaluation mechanisms. These strategies offer both theoretical guidance and practical pathways for vocational colleges to develop faculty teams aligned with industry requirements and to enhance the employment quality of graduates.
