Abstract:
Palliative care is a holistic approach aimed at improving the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses by addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. This study examines the principles and practices of palliative care, the benefits for patients and families, and the challenges faced by healthcare providers. It also discusses the integration of palliative care into healthcare systems and its potential to reduce healthcare costs. Through a review of literature and case studies, this article highlights the importance of early implementation of palliative care and the positive outcomes associated with comprehensive, patient-centered care.
