Abstract:
Con ict roles are omnipresent. That is, con ict is everywhere, anytime, whoever we are. In any organizationwhere we are involved. This happens because the larger an organization within the company, the more complicated theproblems faced, all aspects will experience complexity both through the ow of information, decision making, humanresources and so on.Hasibuan(2007) argues that authority is the legal and legitimate power that a person has to governothers, do or not do or do nothing, power is the legal and legal basis for doing something.Kreitner, Kinicki, and Fagan(2001) job satisfaction is \an e ectiveness or emotional response to various aspects of work". This study aims to examinerelationships: Con ict Roles with Job Satisfaction; Job Authority with Employee Job Satisfaction; And Con ict of Rolesand Authority of Employment through Job Satisfaction. The study sample was 94 people, selected by random sampling.Data collection is done by using instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability. Research data wereanalyzed by multiple linear regression. The results of the study found that the Con ict Role has a relationship with JobSatisfaction, Job Authority has a relationship with Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction is an intermediary for Con dentialRole relations with Employment Authority. The research has limitations, because it only tests Con ict Role Variables,Job Authority which have an in uence on Satisfaction. So it is expected for researchers to examine the variables RoleAmbiguity, Multiple Roles, Job Stress, and the Desire to Switch to complete this study.
