Applicability of Energy Conservation Policies in Turkey - A Sectoral Analysis Through the Fourier Approximation

Muhammed Sehid Gorus

Energy RESEARCH LETTERS, 2021, vol. 1, issue 1, 1-4

Abstract: In this paper, we test four fundamental hypotheses on the applicability of energy conservation policies, namely, conservation, neutrality, growth, and feedback. We utilize an annual dataset for sectoral levels of energy use and income level. We find that mitigating energy consumption does not decrease the economic growth.
