Abstract:
L. Walras might be one of the most misunderstood economists. The common understanding is that he is the pioneer of unrealistic perfect competition market and the abstract and mathematical economics, which are based on the general equilibrium analysis. Walras is also a pioneer of the non-Marxist socialist neo-classical economy. The origin of Walras' ideas is socialism that is backed by his ideas on morality economics. In this work, we first focus on the moral economics concept. We then examine Walras' socialism, and the role of science in realization of this socialism
