Abstract:
The health, wellbeing and productivity agenda is becoming of central importance for the real estate sector. Evidence is growing of the impact of building design and management on the performance of users, although until recently this has not translated into the decisions of investors, developers and occupiers. In large part, this has been because of the difficulty of demonstrating the business case for an individual organisation; however, thanks to a high-level framework proposed by the World Green Building Council, this situation is set to change.
