Abstract: In the financial industry, today's workplace transformation programmes aim for both cost-efficient property solutions and the introduction of new ways of working, with a particular focus on collaboration and wellbeing. This paper highlights how UniCredit stretches this concept further in the hopes of creating innovative workplace formats, crossing boundaries between office and retail spaces, leveraging on both digital technology and data-driven design and connecting with communities as well as the city. Case studies and pilots show the benefits for corporate organisations in the financial services industry and beyond, ranging from cost-savings through better utilisation to value creation through experiential spaces.
