Abstract:
In an era where increasing globalisation, continuing budget reductions and rising customer expectations continue to directly influence a shift in how we manage facilities, ‘high performance’ facility professionals need capabilities edge to further validate how the services that our teams provide are vital to organisational business continuity and longevity. Facilities asset management planning (FAMP) offers an innovative new approach towards examining operational planning capability, appropriate levels of customer focus and performance-based data usage. This methodology integrates facilities and business life cycle portfolio management activities to systematically enable the efficient, effective and economic functionality of the facility portfolio so it strategically aligns with enabling the accomplishment of organisational goals.
