Blurred lines equals better bottom lines: How collaboration across departments is generating huge returns

Elizabeth Dukes

Corporate Real Estate Journal, 2018, vol. 8, issue 1, 26-32

Abstract: With workplace technology rapidly changing, many businesses find it difficult to keep up with the increasing demands for collaboration from employees. Although digital transformation is intriguing, many workplace leaders find it hard to implement. This paper discusses the future of workplace technology and how breaking down silos between departments can lead to greater collaboration. Also, it provides a real-life example of how blurring lines between departments has led to greater collaboration and Return on Investment (ROI) for a Fortune 500 company.
