Abstract: Schiphol Group (the trading name of N.V. Luchthaven Schiphol) is an airport operator, or, more specifically, an operator of AirportCities. Its aim is to create sustainable value for stakeholders by developing AirportCities and by positioning Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as a leading, highly efficient air, rail and road transport hub that offers visitors and local businesses all the services they require on a 24/7 basis. To offer an insight into the way in which Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is using innovative solutions to set up the passenger and baggage processes of the future, the paper describes three major projects. It will discuss, respectively, the Redesign Passenger Process, the use of a baggage robot and the recently introduced security scan.
