Experience in structuring public-private partnerships for airports

Ebru Özdemir

Journal of Airport Management, 2015, vol. 9, issue 2, 154-161

Abstract: Airport public-private partnerships can be very attractive for both public and private partners when they are built upon critical success factors. This paper presents key lessons from Limak’s earlier airport projects, Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen and Pristina, Kosovo International Airports, and discusses the opportunities for Turkey’s mega project, Istanbul New Airport.
